Premier Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie!
This is my game plan after overeating this Thanksgiving week. Also, who doesn’t over eat during the holiday season? There’s just something about the winter. It’s really hard for me to focus on eating right and keeping my weight down. So many parties, family gatherings and treats that the neighbors bring over.
This is where Premier Protein Shakes come in handy. I’m actually drinking one now as I work.
I’m a busy mom of 5 and I usually don’t take very good care of myself. I take good care of my kids. They eat a balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well, OK, most days. But when it’s my turn, I just eat junk. The easiest thing to grab from the pantry. So that is usually a large handful of Goldfish Crackers. Then I feel horrible about myself and I get hungry 30 minutes later because I didn’t eat any protein.
I’ve learned that if it’s not easy, I won’t do it. I’m just too busy and I have too many people to take care of. That’s why I love the Premier Protein Shakes so much. I buy a large box of them at Costco and drink one for breakfast and sometimes lunch. I’ve drunk them for years. They are one of the best pre-made protein shakes I’ve tried. And I’m pretty picky about them.
They have a variety of flavors to choose from. Chocolate, Vanilla, Banana & Cream, Strawberry & Cream. They are all really good. I’m a chocolate gal though, so that’s the one I choose. Premier Protein Shakes have 24 Vitamins and Minerals and they are Low fat. They also contain 30 grams of protein. 30 GRAMS! That keeps you full for a long time. They only contain 160 calories each and have less than 1 gram of sugar in each shake. They also contain no artificial growth hormones. All of these reasons combined make these my favorite shakes.
I can feel good about sending these shakes with my teenagers for school lunches too. I have a daughter that hates standing in line in the cafeteria at school. She doesn’t like carrying around a lunch all day with her either. No matter how much I pleaded with her to eat lunch, she usually didn’t. But when I buy these shakes, she will take one with her for lunch. I’m so glad we found a middle ground here.
When I have a bit of extra time, or when I’m extra hungry, I’ll make the shakes a little more gourmet by adding a few simple ingredients. Adding frozen berries to the vanilla shake makes it so delish! And adds fiber and so many more vitamins.
But my all time favorite shake is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Shake that I make on a regular basis. It’s super simple and whips up so fast. It keeps me feeling full for a very long period of time.
