I love basic recipes like these Easy Instant Pot Meatball Subs. My kids love this dinner and it will be a part of our rotating menu from now on.
I am always on the lookout for new easy and quick weeknight recipes for family dinners and the Instant Pot has helped me find so many more amazing recipes.
And guess what? This recipe only calls for 2 ingredients.
2 INGREDIENTS. Well, and the rolls and cheese. But how easy is that? Ah-mazing!
I use frozen meatballs for this recipe. They are perfect for a busy day. If you’d like to make meatballs from scratch, you can, but it’s much easier to use frozen. I like the Italian version from Walmart. I also use the Traditional Prego Tomato Sauce.
I have a quick and easy video to show you just how fast these are to make.

This turned out just right. Thank you!!! It’s too hot here to do much cooking right now. This method let us have a comfort food dinner without stressing the ac anymore than it is. I’ve had my IP for a few months and I’m trying to learn to do more with it.

I just tried this and got a burn notice on my IP. Took them out and finished on the stove. I don’t know what I did wrong 🙁 I followed the directions and amounts exactly.

I’m sorry you had this problem Sue. Try mixing a cup of water with your tomato sauce next time and see if that helps. I know that sometimes if the tomato sauce is too thick, it doesn’t work.
