There’s nothing more american than a Barbecue on the 4th of July to bring together friends and family to celebrate our independence. I have a great All-American Burger recipe for you to make to WOW all your guests. Simple toppings and a flavorful sauce make this burger the ultimate for Backyard Barbecues.
I love finding new recipes to try so that I’m not making the same old boring things for my family week after week. Shopping at a Stop & Shop store makes my life easier. I love to search the Stop & Shop Savory Recipe Center for great family friendly recipes. I found this amazing collection just for the 4th of July. I found this All-American Burger recipe and I thought, “Well, I’ll for sure need to make that one for Independence Day”. I’m also excited to try the Summer Berry Tiramisu for my dessert that night while watching fireworks.
On the 4th of July our family loves to go to the Grand Parade and let the kids throw pop it’s while they are waiting. We always make sure we bring plenty of water and cold treats to keep them nice and cool. A fun hike or a float down the river is something we like to do in the afternoon, then we finish the day off with a Barbecue dinner with our friends and family. When it finally gets dark, we have fun with sparklers, smoke bombs and other fireworks that the kids like to help us with.If we are feeling really adventurous, we will head to a park close enough to watch the big fireworks show in town. But that’s only when we feel like dealing with the traffic on the way home. Oh, and who can forget the spiffy new 4th of July Shirts? This year we went with a Super Hero theme! So fun!
I would love to know what your family does for the 4th of July. Do you have any fun traditions to do with the kids?
