It’s the most wonderful time of the year! When you have 5 kids who all have teachers and you have to think of something creative and cute to give them, along with all the other millions and zillions of things you have to do this time of year. Whew! That was a long one!
Well, don’t fret, because I got your back missy! I headed to Big Lots and found 8 Quick and Easy Teacher Gift Ideas for Christmas. Not only did I find the gifts, but I’ve made you the printable tags to go with them too! Yay! How much do you love me right now?
I’m picturing you right now in the store. Your on your phone trying to find a creative gift for your kids teacher. With judging old people looking at you like “Get off your phone and pay attention to your screaming kid in the cart”, when all you want to do  is finish your shopping and get the heck out of there! Am I right?
So let’s get down to business, because I don’t want you to spend one more second in that store than you have to. Even if your kid is acting like an angel right now.
I had fun finding these gifts. I love shopping at Big Lots. It’s so convenient. I live around the corner from one, and it’s my favorite store for unique gifts at a GREAT VALUE. When I shop at Big Lots I always know I’ll be able to find the brand names that I love and the things that I need, especially when it comes to gifts, like these.
While I was shopping at Big Lots for these gifts, I came across all these cute Holiday Decorations. I am thinking I’ll be doing a “Snow” theme just so I have a reason to get all these cute home decor items. I love the Snowmen and the cute Village building whose windows really light up. And the wreath was made for my door!
Sorry, I got a little distracted there. Pretty things do that to me . . .
Back to the gifts for OTHER people now.
First I thought about a teachers life, and because I was a teacher in the past, I know a little bit about the subject.
“What does a teacher want?” I asked myself. And these are the things I came up with.
#1 First and Foremost I think a teacher just needs to unwind. So I found these super cute slippers and threw on a tag that says “Tidings of COMFORT and Joy”. So cute. Who doesn’t want some adorable slippers for Christmas?
#2 Cookie decorating is a fun activity for the family so you can make their life easier by gifting them this cute “Cookie Decorating Kit”. This gift contains a package of Sugar Cookie mix, Holiday Sprinkles and a tree cookie cutter.
#3 Holidays are so busy, so providing an easy dinner is much appreciated. This gift consists of a bottle of Prego pasta sauce and a package of Spaghetti.
#4 Treat your teacher to a movie night with some popcorn and a soda. Add a Redbox Movie Code and you’re done! So easy!
#5 I love to receive something useful. Soap is one of those things that we go through a lot at school. This cute Santa Soap dispenser would make the kids want to wash their hands more, which lessens the spread of germs in the classroom. “Just Soap’n you have a Merry Christmas” is what the gift tag says.
#6 Talking about something useful, how about some air freshener? Classrooms get really stinky. A teacher will really love this gift. I don’t have a printable tag for this one, but look at how cute this gift tag is that I got from Big Lots. It came in a package with a ton of other cute ones. I am in love with them.
Look at how cute the tag is. I love the silver foil and the cute gem in the center.
#7 Look at how cute the “Merry and Bright” tag looks on a package of LED Tealight Candles.
#8 And who doesn’t love chocolate? Chocolate brings Peace Love and Joy to my home, that’s for sure!
While you’re at Big Lots don’t forget to grab a cookie decorating kit, like this cute Ugly Sweater Decorating Kit. We had a lot of fun decorating these with the family. They have a bunch of different kits to choose from but I knew this one would be lots of fun for the teenagers and kids.
And don’t forget about the students in your child’s class room. My kids love passing out treats to their friends the last day of school before Christmas Break.
We found these cute Mini Stockings, candy canes and chocolate gold. There’s just something about chocolate gold to a kid. They think it’s so awesome!
So we filled each stocking with some chocolate and a candy cane, and we were done in a few minutes. Add a cute tag and you’re done. Easy peasy.
Now, HOW DO YOU DOWNLOAD THE GIFT TAGS? Easy, just click on the links below. Then when the image opens up in a new browsing window, right click the image and choose “save image as” and save it to your computer. Then you can print the tags on cardstock, cut them out and you’re done.
Here is a printable that contains the 5 printables I’ve made, just in case you want to do one of each gift.
