I’ve teamed up with Famous Footwear today to bring you this amazing recipe! Famous Footwear loves families and a family who bakes together, stays together, right? And who doesn’t love a gift? No one, right? I think I love to give gifts just as much as I love to receive them. That’s why I was so happy to attend a class on bread making yesterday. It gave me the chance to make three different kinds of breads. One for me and two to give away.
Today I’m going to share with you the Cranberry, Orange and White Chocolate Bread recipe, because that one was my favorite. It’s full of flavor and it’s so pretty to look at too!
Cranberry, Orange, and White Chocolate Bread
- 2Â 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup dried chopped cranberries
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 Tbs. grated orange peel
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 Tbs. grated orange peel
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup dried chopped cranberries
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 Tbs. grated orange peel
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom and sides of 4 small loaf pans. (The small tin ones that are gift sized)
- In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt, mix well.
- In small bowl combine milk, orange peel and eggs, beat well. Add melted butter and orange juice to milk mixture then stir into the flour mixture. Stir until just blended. Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Let loaves cool completely before wrapping in plastic wrap.
- Tie a bow around a loaf and add a tag for gift giving then head to a neighbors house and share!
After my bread was baked and cooled, I packaged it up using a clear plastic gift bag, some orange tulle to make a bow, and stamped a gift tag with some Halloween Stamps.
Here is what it looks like finished:
I slipped on my comfy Skechers GOWalk Clogs from Famous Footwear and headed next door.
My neighbor has 3 small kids that I know will devour this bread. I love my compfy mommy shoes. They are the perfect Fall accessory for a busy mom. They are so comfortable and they slip on in a second. Mom’s are always running out the door at a moments notice and having to put on socks and tie some shoes is just too much to handle. I’m a barefoot kind of person, so my Fall and Winter shoes need to be convenient, warm and comfortable.
While I was at Famous Footwear I grabbed a pair of these SUPER cute Gabrela Wedge Booties for me too.
Although I haven’t been able to wear them yet because my daughter has stolen them, I am looking forward to Sunday when I can wear them with my long black skirt.
Or maybe I’ll wear them with my dark denim pencil skirt. I don’t know, all I know is they are so cute and I’m excited to wear them to church and out on dates this Fall with my hubby. I love to check out the #ohsofamous style gallery so I can see what others are wearing this Fall. I also love to use the gallery to see the variety that Famous Footwear offers. You can share what you are wearing from Famous Footwear by tagging your photos with the #ohsofamous hashtag too!
