Mom’s have to make dinner every night. EVERY NIGHT. Sometimes it gets very monotonous. Weekday evenings are crazy busy at our house so EASY family dinners are always at the top of my recipe rotation list.
This is why I love making turkey. Turkey isn’t just a Thanksgiving food. How many times do you order something from a restaurant with turkey in it? How many turkey sandwiches do you make every week? Tons, right? Well, why don’t we make it for dinner very often. I don’t know why! Because it’s such a healthy protein for our families. Turkey is a lean, tasty substitution for foods traditionally prepared with beef or pork such as sausages and burgers. Honeysuckle White turkeys are raised without growth-promoting antibiotics.
Honeysuckle White makes so many things with their turkeys. Ground turkey, sausage, tenderloins, burgers and more. Honeysuckle White works with more than 700 independent farmers to produce these wholesome turkeys raised without growth-promoting antibiotics.
We decided to try out Honeysuckle White’s Bone in Turkey Breast this week and I’m in love with how easy it is to cook. If you really only like white meat, this is the way to go. I love the fact that I had leftovers to use a different night. With Honeysuckle White turkey on our side, quick and easy delicious meal times can fit into any family’s schedule. We popped the turkey breast in the oven, headed to church and when we got back it was ready.
We decided to make panini’s with our turkey breast and it was a huge hit with the kids. They loved helping us make the honey mustard and spreading it on the bread.
So let’s get started making the best sandwich you’ll ever eat!
Turkey, Swiss & Honey Mustard Panini- Makes about 8 Panini’s

- 1 loaf bakery style sourdough bread
- 1 pound good Swiss cheese, sliced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 6 tablespoons honey
- 4 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 6 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1- 14 oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 cup real butter, softened and divided
Cook the Turkey according to package directions. Make the honey mustard by whisking the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, honey, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
Make the Cranberry Butter by whipping 1/2 cup softened butter in a mixer until light and fluffy then adding half of the can of Cranberry Sauce.
Set aside for serving.
Layout your bread and spread a thick layer of honey mustard on each slice of bread.
Add Swiss cheese and Turkey slices.
Close sandwiches and spread butter on the outside of the bread. Grill on the Panini Press or on a Griddle until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Serve with more honey mustard for dipping and the cranberry butter.
