What’s better than a bunch of inexpensive, cute ideas for kids during Christmas time? Nothing, right? Today I’m sharing a FREE printable with you. Four differnent Candy Sleighs with matching gift tags. My kids had a lot of fun helping me make these, and they would make perfect friend gifts, neighbor gifts or teacher gifts. And what’s even better? They are really inexpensive!
All you need is:
- white card stock
- a printer
- curling ribbon
- full sized candy canes
- candy
- scissors
- double sided tape
- hot glue gun and glue
- hole punch
- 2″ circle punch (or use your scissors to cut out the gift tags)
Choose which sleigh you are going to print or print them all because they are all so stinkin cute! Print the gift tags and get to work
CLICK HERE to download the sleighs and tags. When you get to the download page you will need to download the folder, which contains all the sleighs and gift tags, to your computer . Then you will need to extract the folder. Don’t know how to extract a folder, click here to watch a video about it.
Print everything on white Card Stock. This is important because you want the sleighs to stand up and be durable. Cut out the sleighs with scissors and use a 2″ circle cutter for the gift tags.
Add your name to the gift tags.
Now fold up all the lines towards the white side of the paper like so:
Use clear tape to tape the tabs to the inside of the sleigh. Then turn the sleigh over and add two strips of glue where the candy canes will go.
Add the candy canes with the hook towards the front of the sleigh.
Repeat for all the sleighs. I used blue candy canes for the Snowflake Sleigh.
Now punch a small hole in the side back of the sleigh and a small hole to the top of the gift tag.
Using ribbon, attach the gift tags to the sleighs.
Now fill the sleighs with candy and you’re done!
These are so simple and cute! I’m excited to give them to everyone I know this Christmas!
Here is what they each look like finished:

I hope you enjoy making these with your family as much as we did!

I used to have a pound puppy when I was a little girl! I loved it! It would be so fun to have another one again for my daughter. Oh, the memories.

Does it take you to Google Drive? Here is the direct link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzzyOkNnk2f8ZE9nNTd3MGI0RWc/view Once you are there, you need to click on the icon at the top of the page that looks like an arrow pointing down to a line. That will download the whole set. You will need to extract the folder by right clicking on in from where you saved it on your computer and choosing extract all. Then you can open them from where you saved them on your computer and print them.

Good morning!
I am a newbie to your blog and just discovered all of the wonderful crafts and gift ideas that you have. I am not a mom but have three beautiful godkids who I try to do little things for and your blog is a Godsend! However I really need your help – I’m trying to access the free printable Candy Sleighs with gift tags but I cannot download the printable as there seems to be a problem with the link as the Google Drive doesn’t seem to be working. If there’s any way to get it to work again or some other way of acvcessing it, I would be soo appreciative. Please let me know.
Thanks a million!
Tracy

Hi Tracy. Thanks for your kind compliments. Try right clicking on the image and choosing “save as” and save the image to your computer. You should be able to print them that way.

These are adorable. I found them too late for this year, but I am hoping they will kick start my early crafting for next year (You know, that activity we all plan to do, then “early” turns into the week before Christmas? lol). I did not have any problem with the download like some others, but when I clicked on the link to watch the video, I was taken to another download. Not a major problem since the instructions and photos on the blog are pretty clear. Just wanted to point it out. BTW I am typing this in December of 2023. Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas!
