My family likes to play board games together on family night, which is usually Monday night for Family Home Evening. We always have a spiritual lesson, a treat then we do an activity. Games are always on the top of their list. We like Monopoly, but through the years we have lost pieces to the game because of careless cleaning by mommy, too lazy to go and put the pieces back in the game. Oops!
So when I had the opportunity to review My Monopoly, we were all really excited! My Monopoly is played just like regular Monopoly, but you can personalize it with photo stickers. How fun is that?!
The hardest part about putting this game together is choosing which pictures to use. I didn’t use the app that they have to build the sticker page, but you can download it HERE for android.
The board comes with little tiles that can be customized. You don’t have to use the boring old street names anymore, you can name your own streets. Like “Candy Corn Lane” seen below with my little one wearing the Candy Corn hat I made him 🙂
The playing pieces have a slot in them so you can add your personalized tile to them.
The game comes with 4 sticker sheets for you to use. You just use the app or go to the web site HERE to upload your images. You can also connect with your facebook page to bring over pictures from there. That’s what I did and it was so easy!
We had a few fun ideas for street names. Wedding Lane, Scout Corner, Halloween Alley, Love Lane, Cutie Pie Street, etc. It was a lot of fun!
And you can see that they have a lot of fun together, as long as they aren’t arguing about how much something costs! Ha Ha~
