We all know how hard it is to shop for Christmas. It’s even harder to get your kids to zero in on the few things they will be asking for from Santa! I thought I’d share with you the 2014 Toy Trends for Christmas to help with your holiday shopping this year. There was one toy that my kids particularly liked, the VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch.
A week ago we attended the #ChosenByKids event at our local Wal-Mart. I was really interested to see what my kids would play with the most at their “Official Toy Tester” party. I was really surprized at what they played with the most. I took my two youngest kids, they are 3 and 9 and they are both boys. They loved every one of the toys that were on display there.
My 3 year old played the longest with the Doc McStuffins Mobile Vet Clinic. I know! Who knew he would like that?
My 9 year old son really liked the Little People Skyway and spent a lot of time making the cars zoom to the bottom!
He also thought the FurReal Friends Get Up and Go Go walking pet was a lot of fun. It has a remote control leash and responds to noises. Perfect for kids who want a pet, but can’t have one. Like those that live in apartments.
But the ultimate winner was the VTech Kidizoom SmartWatch.
My kids really loved the fact that it took video and pictures. The games were fun to play and my son said “Mom, it even tells time!” Ha Ha! Isn’t it funny what toys kids like to play with? I was so surprised by how much all three of my kids, especially my 18 mo, liked the GoGo Pup dog! The watch seems pretty cool. We recently got some LeapBands though, which seem similar, although it can’t take pictures and isn’t a touch screen! Cool stuff!
