This Superbowl Taco Dip is just perfect for your Superbowl party! It’s different than most taco dips because it’s served hot. My kids ask me to make this for them for dinner all the time. The mixture of hot melted cheese and fresh veggies on top will make this dip the favorite appetizer of your guests. Just wait and see. Everyone will tell you it’s “So Good!” And, did I mention it’s really easy too?
Superbowl Taco Dip:
-2 cans (16 oz each) refried beans
-1 cup sour cream
-1 packet taco seasoning mix or about 2 1/2 Tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
-At least a cup of shredded cheese. I use the Mexican blend from Costco
-1/2 yellow onion chopped
– 1/4 bunch cilantro chopped
-2 roma tomatoes chopped
-1 can sliced olives (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Start by spreading the refried beans in the bottom of a 9×13 pan. Mix the taco seasoning together with the sour cream and spread that on top of the beans. Top evenly with cheese and cook for 15-20 minutes or until all cheese is melted and center is just starting to bubble. Take out of the oven and top with the chopped vegetables. Serve warm.
Here it is just out of the oven. You can see that I stuck a CLEAN finger in the middle to make sure it was warm enough. 🙂
Add onions first . . .
Then Cilantro . . .
Then tomatoes and olives if desired.
Enjoy!
