In the first week of October, we have the kids bring about 10 leaves with them to class. This is a fun activity for the parents to get outside exploring with their child. This project is so simple and can’t cost more than a few cents.
All you need are the cheap white paper plates, scissors to cut a hole in the middle, a hole punch to use to thread the yarn for the hook and yarn. Oh yeah, and glue 🙂 That’s the kids favorite part.
Pretty simple and self explanatory. Pictured is the wreath my son made, pretty creative huh!? 😉
One note . . . turn the paper plate upside down and the leaves will stick much better to the more flat surface, after we did it this way, we were like DUH! Yeah, that’s why I teach preschool, no judging here!
Have a great Autumn everyone!
