There are so many things I am thankful for. I truly am blessed each and every day mostly by those who are part of my life. I know Heavenly Father uses these people in my life to answer my prayers. I love November because I pause each day and think about the things I am thankful for so I can post them to my facebook page as part of my Project Gratitude. Here is a little printable I made for you with my favorite thankful quote to help you keep the attitude of gratitude alive in your house: You can download it HERE.
I know my blog is white and you can’t see the border around this image, but it’s sized as an 8×10 so you can print it and frame it. You can also print it as a 16×20 and it would make an awesome addition to your mantle if you are lucky enough to have one 🙂
Thankfulness is something that I am reminded of each time I kneel to pray morning and evening.
When I say my prayers, I always thank Heavenly Father for the many blessings he has given to me. This helps me focus on the things in my life that are good. It drowns out all the bad things that I might be going through that day. No matter what your circumstance in life, there must me something to be grateful for. The happiest people on earth and the most grateful for the blessings that are given to them.
Here are a few of my other favorite quotes. The one I made a printable out of just stood out to me, so I am hoping that it will help at least one of my readers, one of my readers who needs to hear it and display it in their home.
“Hold fast to the blessings which God has provided for you. Yours is not the task to gain them, they are here; yours is the part of cherishing them” J. Reuben Clark
“Gratitude is a mark of a noble soul and a refined character. We like to be around those who are grateful. They tend to brighten all around them. They make others feel better about themselves. They tend to be more humble, more joyful, more likable…. If we only look around us, there are a thousand reasons for us not to be happy, and it is simplicity itself to blame our unhappiness on the things we lack in life. It doesn’t take any talent at all to find them. The problem is, the more we focus on the things we don’t have, the more unhappy and more resentful we become” Joseph B. Wirthlin,
Again, you can download the printable HERE.
Don’t forget to stop by each day a blogger will share a quote with you and perhaps an activity, their thoughts that will help us cultivate a heart of gratitude with our families.
