{Valentines Day} Vanilla Cherry Chocolate Chex Mix! White Trash

01/25/13 | Desserts and Treats, Holidays, Recipes, Valentines Day

So I made some white trash for Christmas, why not make a Valentines Day version?

Valentines Day Vanilla Cherry Chocolate Chex Mix… That’s all you need, right? ANOTHER chex mix recipe.  BUT, this one is worth making, especially if you like easy things.  This seriously comes together in a second and it’s so yummy!

Start out with these easy ingredients:

-1/2 box Rice Chex
-One large package Valentines Day Cherry M&M’s
-One bag Butter Snaps pretzels
-One package Almond Bark
-Red food coloring

Mix together the chex, M&M’s and Pretzels,  in a large bowl.

Melt the Almond Bark according to package directions.  Pour 3/4 of the melted Almond Bark over the dry ingredients (BE SURE TO SAVE ABOUT 1/4 FOR THE PRETTY PINK TOPPING!).  Mix well, then spread onto wax paper to harden.

Add some red food coloring to the remaining melted Almond Bark:

Pour the pink almond bark into a sandwich bag, snip off a SMALL bit of the corner of the bag, then drizzle the pink all over the top of the mix, moving your hand quickly over the top making zig zags:

Let the bark harden then break into little pieces and EAT!
